Getting Your Intake Right
The Continuum Method is a flexible approach to managing Parkinson's symptoms with MacuDopa, allowing you to tailor your intake based on your body's needs.

Here's how to apply it:
1. Understand Your Response Times
-
Onset Time: MacuDopa typically begins to work within 20–40 minutes after taking a capsule.
-
Duration of Effect: The benefits usually last for 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on individual factors.
2. Monitor Your Symptoms
-
Stay 'ON': To maintain consistent symptom relief, take your next MacuDopa dose as the effects of the previous dose start to wear off.
3. Adjust Your Dosage
-
Day Capsules: Start with one capsule every 2 hours. Adjust as needed, possibly increasing to two capsules per dose, based on your symptoms and healthcare provider's advice.
-
Night Capsules: Begin with one delayed-release capsule before bed to manage nighttime symptoms. If necessary, increase to two capsules, following professional guidance.
4. Experiment with Timing
-
Consider taking a delayed-release Night capsule alongside your Day capsules. This can extend symptom relief and potentially reduce the total number of Day capsules needed.
5. Consult Your Healthcare Professional
-
Always discuss dosage adjustments with your doctor, especially if you're transitioning from other medications.
By following the Continuum Method, you can personalise your MacuDopa regimen to achieve optimal symptom control throughout the day and night.
Think of your energy levels—both physical and mental—like a battery, and find the balance that keeps you fully charged throughout the day and night.
Use your intake of L-DOPA rich MacuDopa to keep yourself charged and in the green. Try not to spend any time in the brown or red (see image below).
